Surfer's Beach
One of the more famous well-known beaches, especially amongst surfers is Surfer's Beach in Gregory Town. It is known as one of the best surfing beaches in the Bahamas, because of its breaks and warm waters.
It is said that if you can master these waves, local legend, Surfer Pete publicly anoints you as "righteous", the last step before one can become a "surfer dude".
